Let's End Poverty Founding Assembly

On Saturday 14th October, the Let’s End Poverty Founding Assembly took place.

Over 270 people from across the UK registered to gather together in nine locations across the UK and online to call for a future where poverty can’t keep anyone down.

We gathered in Manchester, Liverpool, London, Nottingham, Cambridge, Newcastle, Leeds, Cardiff and Glasgow and online.

Together, we explored:

  • How we can organise and mobilise our communities to move tackling poverty higher up the political agenda.
  • How we can build community conversations that bring lived experience, expertise and practical solutions together to set the roadmap towards ending poverty in the UK.
  • How you can play your part in building momentum in your networks and community ahead of the next General Election.

Get involved calls

If you missed the Assembly but would like to be part of building the movement, why not join one of our Get Involved calls? These calls are aimed at people getting involved with Let’s End Poverty for the first time. We’ll be meeting online to get to know one another, explore the motivation behind Let’s End Poverty and find out how you can get involved.
